Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to trader-driven pricing and the inclusion of betting volumes. In this market, prediction odds reflect aggregated trader beliefs and can shift rapidly with new information, whereas sportsbooks set fixed lines based on their own analysis. Traders may see value discrepancies that sportsbook bettors do not, especially as match-specific news or player updates emerge.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now.
