On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds capture the collective wisdom of participants, which can diverge from sportsbook odds due to different participant motivations and information sources. While sportsbooks may set lines based on broader public betting trends and historical data, this market's pricing is driven by the actual trades placed by users on Polymarket. This can lead to variations, especially if insider information or recent performance shifts trader expectations. The difference provides a unique perspective on the perceived likelihood of outcomes from a specialized trading community.
