Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which can cause temporary price gaps. Polymarket and Kalshi may also frame the same match outcome slightly differently—for instance, one platform might focus on set winners while the other emphasizes match winner—leading to distinct probability curves. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these spreads, but until they do, you may see Polymarket and Kalshi quoting noticeably different odds on identical outcomes.
Key catalysts include injury announcements or withdrawal news affecting either player, recent performance trends from warm-up tournaments, head-to-head history, and court surface conditions at the Skopje venue. Weather forecasts, player fatigue from back-to-back matches, and late lineup changes can all shift trader sentiment. Additionally, movement on related markets—such as odds for other M25 events or ATP rankings implications—may indirectly influence pricing as traders reassess player momentum and confidence.
