Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who have real money at stake on the outcome. For this market, comparing the implied probability on Polymarket to what major sportsbooks are offering can reveal whether traders are pricing the match differently than traditional oddsmakers. Gaps between the two may signal value or highlight where one venue sees information the other has not yet priced in.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 100 cents, representing the market's collective estimate of the likelihood that outcome will occur. As traders buy and sell shares, the price adjusts continuously. You can enter limit or market orders to trade at your preferred price, and the spread between bid and ask reflects the current depth of interest in the market.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result, ensuring that the winning prediction is paid out accurately. Until that date, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information emerges and sentiment shifts. Resolution happens automatically once the event is finalized and the data is confirmed.
Several factors could shift prices significantly before Jul 22, 2026. Recent form, head-to-head records, and player rankings often influence trader positioning. Injury announcements, court surface preferences, or weather conditions on match day can trigger sharp moves. News coverage and expert commentary may also sway sentiment. Additionally, as the match date approaches, traders who have been holding positions may close them out, creating volume spikes. Watching for these catalysts helps you anticipate where the market might be repriced.
