Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to the decentralized nature of trading. While sportsbooks may set their lines based on broader analytics and risk models, traders on Polymarket price in their own expectations, news, and in-play developments, which can create tighter or wider spreads depending on recent momentum and public sentiment.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the odds through buying and selling shares of possible outcomes. The current implied probability reflects the balance of buy and sell orders, with liquidity currently at a volume of $12,063.
