Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect real-time crowd sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker lines. Sportsbooks adjust odds to balance liability and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs continuously. For the Jorge versus Ku match, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook offerings reveals how decentralized markets may price player form, recent ITF results, and head-to-head history differently. These differences create arbitrage opportunities for sharp bettors monitoring both venues.
On Polymarket, the Jorge versus Ku match is priced through binary outcome contracts where traders buy and sell shares representing each player's win probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses an automated market maker model, so prices adjust dynamically as traders enter and exit positions. Current odds reflect the aggregate belief of Polymarket participants about Jorge's and Ku's chances.
