Prediction market odds on Polymarket often reflect a different consensus than traditional sportsbooks because they aggregate real-time bets from a decentralized crowd rather than relying on oddsmakers' models. Sportsbooks typically adjust lines to balance liability and lock in margins, while prediction markets price outcomes based on continuous participant trading. For the Salvadori versus Daubnerova match, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether the crowd sees different value in each player's chances, though both sources should converge closer to match time.
On Polymarket, the Salvadori versus Daubnerova match is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome.
