Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Adeshina vs Feldmane tennis match displays real-time odds and price movements as traders buy and sell shares tied to the match outcome. You can monitor the current probability estimate, historical price charts, and trading volume to see how market sentiment evolves. The interface shows which outcome is leading among traders and lets you track cumulative activity. This live data helps you understand how the prediction market is pricing the event relative to other available information about both players' form and head-to-head record.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show a different probability than traditional sports betting sites, especially if one venue has sharper or more active traders. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest and where informed traders see value relative to conventional oddsmakers.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective assessment of all active traders at any given moment. As new information emerges—such as player injury reports or recent match results—traders adjust their positions, moving the probability up or down. The more capital flowing into a particular outcome, the higher its price climbs, creating a continuous feedback loop that incorporates available evidence into the market price.

This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on which player wins the ITF Monastir event. Until that point, traders can continue to adjust positions as match day approaches and any relevant developments emerge. Resolution is automatic once the official result is recorded, allowing all winning positions to be settled promptly.

Several factors could shift trader sentiment before resolution. Injury announcements or withdrawal news involving either player would trigger sharp repricing. Recent tournament results, ranking changes, or head-to-head record updates may prompt traders to reassess win probability. Court surface conditions, weather forecasts, and draw announcements closer to the event date can also influence positioning. Media coverage highlighting form or momentum, as well as any coaching or equipment changes, could drive noticeable volume and price movement in this market.
