Prediction market odds on Polymarket often differ from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect decentralized trader sentiment rather than bookmaker risk management. Sportsbooks adjust lines to balance liability; prediction markets respond directly to supply and demand from participants. For the Misasi vs Tabacco match, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook lines can reveal where the crowd disagrees with professional oddsmakers. Prediction markets tend to be more efficient at pricing niche events like ITF tournaments, where sportsbook coverage may be limited or less frequently updated.
