Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to the trader-driven nature of Polymarket. While sportsbooks may set their lines based on analytical models and historical data, prediction markets incorporate real-time betting activity and can shift more quickly in response to new information or sentiment. This can lead to tighter spreads or more volatile pricing, especially as the match approaches.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders set the odds through their bets, creating a dynamic price that reflects the balance of buy and sell orders.
