Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds capture real-time betting interest and can diverge from sportsbook odds due to different participant pools and incentives. Traders on Polymarket may price in nuances or early signals not fully reflected in sportsbook lines. The resulting probability can therefore appear higher or lower than standard sportsbook odds, especially with limited volume of $2,368. This difference highlights how decentralized markets aggregate information uniquely.

On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set prices through buying and selling shares, creating a dynamic market price that reflects their collective view of each player's chances. The current top-outcome chance displayed is based on these trades, and volume of $2,368 shows overall interest. As the match nears, any shifts in player health, recent performance, or court conditions can quickly move this market’s pricing.
