On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds often diverge from sportsbook odds due to different participant motivations and information sources. Traders on Polymarket may price in nuanced factors like recent form or injury updates more dynamically than sportsbooks, which typically rely on broader public betting trends. The resulting probability can therefore appear more or less favorable than standard sportsbook lines, depending on how Polymarket users interpret the latest data. This difference highlights how decentralized markets can offer alternative perspectives on the same event.
