Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to trader dynamics and the decentralized nature of Polymarket. While sportsbooks may set lines based on broader analytics and risk management, prediction markets let participants bet directly on their insights. This can lead to tighter spreads or sharper movements around key news, such as player injuries or recent form updates. Comparing both can reveal where public trader sentiment diverges from institutional sportsbook assessments.
