On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually place bets that directly set the market price through a zero-sum mechanism. The current probability reflects the ratio of ‘for’ and ‘against’ shares, with liquidity provided by open orders from participants. As more users bet, especially on one side, the implied chance shifts accordingly. This decentralized pricing captures the collective wisdom of participants and can differ significantly from traditional sportsbook odds.
This market resolves around Aug 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
