Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant pools and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show materially different implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, especially if one venue has sharper or more active traders. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest and where outlier opportunities may exist.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously based on order flow and the balance of buy and sell volume. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders submit limit or market orders to buy or sell shares representing each possible outcome, and the cumulative positions determine the current probability. Wider spreads between bid and ask prices typically signal lower liquidity or higher uncertainty, while tighter spreads suggest active trading and consensus pricing.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the tennis match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner of the Salakthip vs Ru Xi Wu match will be determined by the official tournament records and widely recognized sports data sources.
