On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this match is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. The current price of each outcome reflects the latest executed trade and pending orders. As new information emerges about player form, injuries, or court conditions, traders adjust their bids and asks, moving the price up or down. Volume and liquidity on Polymarket determine how quickly prices respond to new signals.
Key catalysts include recent match results and win-loss records for both players, court surface performance history, head-to-head records if available, player injuries or withdrawals, weather conditions at the venue, and pre-match commentary from tennis analysts. Betting activity itself can shift prices as large trades execute. Tournament seeding, player ranking changes, and any coaching or equipment adjustments may also influence trader positioning. Real-time updates during warm-ups or early match play typically drive the largest price movements.
