Prediction market odds on Polymarket often differ from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect decentralized trader sentiment rather than bookmaker risk management. Sportsbooks adjust lines to balance liability; prediction markets aggregate crowd forecasts without that constraint. For this ITF Kiseljak match, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook lines can reveal where professional oddsmakers and the prediction market crowd diverge. Such gaps may highlight undervalued or overvalued outcomes based on different information sets and incentive structures.
