Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Rabman vs Kay tennis match displays real-time odds and price history as traders buy and sell shares tied to the match outcome. You can monitor how the probability shifts as new information emerges, track cumulative trading volume, and observe 24-hour activity to gauge market momentum. The interface lets you see the current implied probability alongside historical price movements, giving you a complete view of how prediction market participants are pricing this ITF Irvine event from open to close.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs about the outcome. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because participants have direct financial exposure. However, sportsbooks may occasionally move faster on breaking news. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether traders here see value the books have missed.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously as traders place bets on each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the aggregate belief of all participants—buyers pushing probability up, sellers pushing it down. Each trade moves the odds incrementally, and the system ensures liquidity by algorithmically balancing the order book. This mechanism means prices update in real time without requiring a traditional order book or manual price-setting, making it easy to enter or exit positions at transparent, market-determined rates.

This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the ITF Irvine match between Rabman and Kay concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result—typically reported by the ITF, major tennis news outlets, or the tournament's official records. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares. Once resolution is triggered, all positions settle according to the verified outcome, and traders receive payouts based on their holdings.

Several factors could shift odds before the match concludes. Recent player form, head-to-head records, and injury updates are classic catalysts; news of a player being unfit or in peak condition often triggers sharp moves. Court surface conditions, weather forecasts, and tournament draw details can also influence trader sentiment. Betting activity on external sportsbooks may signal professional money flowing in one direction. Social media discussion or analyst commentary about either player's recent performances could sway retail traders. Any official announcement regarding the match—delays, scheduling changes, or player withdrawals—would likely cause immediate repricing.
