Prediction market odds often reflect a more nuanced view of probabilities because they are set by a wider range of participants, including casual bettors and informed traders. In contrast, sportsbook odds are typically adjusted by professional oddsmakers who may factor in different variables, such as betting volume and house edges. For this market, comparing the two can reveal shifts in public sentiment versus institutional assessments.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders continuously submit bids and asks that determine the current implied probabilities for each outcome. The top outcome’s displayed chance reflects the aggregate of all active orders, and volume indicates how much has traded in the last 24 hours. This dynamic pricing adjusts rapidly as new information emerges about the players or conditions.
This market resolves around Aug 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score and winner will be used to determine which contracts are settled as correct, based on the official event records.
