Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to the decentralized nature of trading. Traders on Polymarket set prices based on their own assessments and available information, which can lead to sharper or more volatile odds compared to aggregated sportsbook averages. For example, if recent form or injuries shift expectations, this market may adjust faster than standard sportsbook lines.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders actively buy and sell contracts representing each outcome, driving the price through supply and demand.
