Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader consensus without a built-in spread. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Shares representing each outcome are bought and sold continuously, and the current price of a yes-share reflects the market's implied probability. As more traders back one outcome, the price rises; selling pressure lowers it. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information about player form, court conditions, or other factors affecting the match. The transparent, real-time price discovery process allows you to enter or exit positions at any time before resolution.

This market resolves around Jul 8, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting.
