Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. For this market, comparing the implied probability here to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether one venue perceives the outcome differently. Prediction markets tend to be efficient when volume is high and participants have strong information, making them a useful cross-check against traditional betting odds.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the cumulative bets placed on each outcome; as more capital flows toward one side, the odds shift to balance supply and demand. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before Jul 22, 2026, and the final price at resolution determines payouts.
