On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the price through their bets, which determines the implied probability for each outcome. The current top outcome reflects the balance of buy and sell orders, adjusting dynamically as new information emerges or as betting activity changes. This decentralized pricing mechanism allows rapid shifts in odds based on real-time participant behavior rather than external analysts or fixed lines.
