Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to the decentralized nature of trading. While sportsbooks may set their odds based on broader public betting trends and analytical models, prediction markets reflect the real-time sentiment and insights of active traders, which can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing depending on new information or shifts in player form.
On Polymarket, this market uses a decentralized betting pool where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The current implied probability reflects the relative cost of these contracts. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Market depth and recent trades determine the available odds, with liquidity providers helping to narrow spreads. As the match approaches, early betting patterns and any emerging analysis can shift pricing dynamics on Polymarket.
