This market refers to the tennis match between Elena Ruxandra Bertea and Valeriya Strakhova in the ITF Women Ceska Lipa, originally scheduled for June 10, 2026 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to 'Elena Ruxandra Bertea' if Elena Ruxandra Bertea advances against Valeriya Strakhova. This market will resolve to 'Valeriya Strakhova' if Valeriya Strakhova advances against Elena Ruxandra Bertea. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one player advances due to the opponent's retirement, default, or disqualification, this market will resolve to the player who advances. If the match ends in a walkover (player withdraws before the start and the other advances automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the International Tennis Federation (ITF). A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution requires that a ball be played in the match. If the match does not occur before it starts due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, all markets resolve to $0.50. If a player withdraws or forfeits after play has begun, that player resolves to No. Postponements or delays do not close the market; it remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks.
Key catalysts include recent player form updates, injury reports, head-to-head history releases, and draw analysis. Court surface conditions, weather forecasts, and player fitness disclosures closer to match day typically trigger significant price movement. Tournament seeding announcements and qualifying round results may shift perceived match difficulty. Social media sentiment, coaching changes, or public betting patterns can also influence trader positioning. Any official statement from either player's camp regarding readiness or withdrawal risk will immediately impact market odds on both Polymarket and Kalshi.
