Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to community-driven pricing and the inclusion of trading fees. While sportsbooks set their lines based on expert analysis and risk management, prediction markets let participants bet directly on outcomes, which can lead to sharper or more volatile prices. This market may show a different implied probability for each player compared to sportsbook odds, reflecting crowd wisdom and real-time sentiment rather than fixed expert projections.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders determine prices through continuous bidding and asking, creating a dynamic market price that updates with each new trade. The current top outcome’s implied probability reflects the collective assessment of all participants. Volume of $5,830 and recent 24-hour volume of $5,830 indicate liquidity levels, while price history charts show how expectations have shifted over time as the match date nears.
