On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds often show tighter spreads and can react faster to new information than standard sportsbooks. The current implied probability may differ from sportsbook favorites due to unique trader positioning and liquidity conditions. This alternative pricing model provides a distinct view of expected outcomes, sometimes highlighting contrarian bets that sportsbooks may not emphasize. Traders should compare both sources to identify potential value gaps.
