Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market relies on individuals trading based on their own research and insights. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when there's significant public interest or disagreement about the likely outcome. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise in assessing where the smart money appears to be focused, though neither is guaranteed to be correct.
