A men's professional T20 International cricket match between Indonesia and Thailand scheduled for June 22, 2026 at 1:30 AM EDT. The outcome depends on which team wins the match according to official governing body determination.
Resolution is determined by the official match result declared by the governing body. If the match concludes with a decisive winner, the market resolves Yes for that team. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, or if play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50. In cases of forfeit, disqualification, or concession occurring before the match begins, all markets resolve to $0.50. If such events occur after play has begun and the governing body declares an official winner, the market resolves based on that declared result.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader belief—there is no house edge. Comparing this market's implied probability to major sportsbooks can reveal where the crowd sees value or where public perception may differ from professional oddsmakers' assessments.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for outcome shares. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the consensus probability among active traders at any moment. As new information emerges or trading volume shifts, prices adjust in real time. This mechanism ensures that the market price incorporates available information and trader conviction, making it a dynamic gauge of expected match results.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will reflect the official final score and result as confirmed by authoritative sports reporting. Until that point, prices may fluctuate based on team news, injury updates, betting trends, and other factors that traders believe will influence the match.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury reports for star players, recent head-to-head form, and any tactical shifts disclosed before kickoff. Betting action from professional syndicates or sharp money can also shift prices sharply. Weather conditions, venue changes, or late-breaking news about player availability may prompt repricing. As the match date approaches, accumulating data on team momentum and public sentiment typically narrows uncertainty, though surprises during the match itself will drive final moves.
