This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans scheduled for 2026-05-31 in Indian Premier League. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be considered correct if Royal Challengers Bengaluru is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Gujarat Titans will be considered correct if Gujarat Titans is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect real-time trader consensus rather than fixed lines set by oddsmakers. Sportsbooks typically adjust for margin and liability, while prediction markets price outcomes based on continuous supply and demand. For the RCB vs GT toss event, monitoring both sources reveals whether professional bettors and casual traders see different probabilities than established sportsbooks, potentially identifying value opportunities in either venue.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru outcome is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on trader activity and position flow. The current implied probability reflects the aggregate belief of all active traders on the platform. Prices update continuously as new orders execute, and the spread between bid and ask prices indicates market depth and liquidity. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the Jun 7, 2026 resolution deadline, allowing real-time price discovery for this IPL toss event.
The market resolves at Jun 7, 2026, following the conclusion of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Gujarat Titans match and official confirmation of the toss result.
