Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders risking real capital. This market's odds represent what informed traders are willing to stake on the second half outcome, which can differ from a sportsbook's opening line or live spread. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value relative to professional oddsmakers.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 1 (or 0–100 cents), and the cost to buy a share reflects the current implied probability. As traders buy or sell shares, the price adjusts automatically, so the odds you see are always live and responsive to new information about the second half matchup.

This market resolves around Jul 25, 2026, once the match concludes and the second half result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect what actually occurred during the second half—whether one team won, the teams drew, or another specified result took place. Traders should monitor official match reports and reliable sports data providers as the resolution date approaches to stay informed on how this market will settle.

Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes announced before kickoff—can shift odds significantly. Early second half performance, such as an early goal or red card, typically triggers sharp repricing as traders update their expectations. Weather conditions, referee assignments, and any breaking developments during the match itself will influence how traders reassess the likelihood of each outcome. Monitoring pre-match analysis and live commentary helps you anticipate where conviction might swing before this market closes.
