This market refers to the cricket match between Sierra Leone and Uganda scheduled for September 15 2026 at 3:30 AM ET in ILT20 Continent Cup. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, incorporating a margin for themselves. This market, however, is driven by the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. As a result, you may find that the odds on Polymarket differ from sportsbook odds, potentially offering value to informed bettors who can identify discrepancies based on their own analysis of the teams and match conditions.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe Sierra Leone or Uganda will win, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market constantly adapts to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will resolve based on the official result of the ILT20 Continent Cup match between Sierra Leone and Uganda. The winning team, as declared by the official tournament organizers, will determine the settlement of this market. Traders who correctly predicted the winner will receive a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding team lineups, player injuries, or changes in playing conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather forecasts, pre-match analysis from sports commentators, or even public statements from team officials could all contribute to price fluctuations. Furthermore, large volume trades on Polymarket could indicate informed activity and trigger further price adjustments as traders react to new information or changing perceptions of the likely outcome.
