DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own modeling and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market's odds are driven purely by supply and demand. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in how each entity assesses the probability of an event. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, particularly in response to breaking news or evolving sentiment.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the prices adjust to find an equilibrium point. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to provide a real-time estimate of the likelihood of each team winning the ILT20 Continent Cup, based on the aggregated beliefs of those trading in the market.

This market resolves around Sep 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the ILT20 Continent Cup match between Rwanda and Sierra Leone. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the final result. Keep an eye on Polymarket for updates as the resolution date approaches.
