In the upcoming Superettan game between IFK Varnamo and Osters IF, scheduled for September 15, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the IFK Varnamo vs. Osters IF match originally scheduled for September 15, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd assessment, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks incorporate a profit margin into their odds, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, attracting traders to exploit the difference. However, it’s important to remember that prediction market odds are dynamic and can shift rapidly based on new information and trading activity, potentially aligning more closely with sportsbook odds as the event approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a specific exact score. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds continuously adapt to the latest information and collective intelligence of the traders participating in this market.
This market resolves around Sep 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the IFK Varnamo vs. Osters IF match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a trusted sports data source. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or changes in coaching staff for either IFK Varnamo or Osters IF could significantly impact the perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Furthermore, general sentiment shifts based on pre-game analysis and expert predictions can drive trading volume and price fluctuations. Major events affecting team morale or key player availability are likely to be key catalysts.
