The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets are driven by trader belief and real-money conviction. For a match like this one, sportsbooks may quote a moneyline or total goals, whereas this market isolates exact scores—a granular outcome sportsbooks rarely offer. Prediction markets can be more efficient at pricing niche outcomes because traders who hold strong views on specific scorelines can express that directly. However, sportsbook odds remain a useful benchmark for comparing overall match expectations.
On Polymarket, traders set prices for each exact-score outcome through an automated market maker or order-book mechanism, where buy and sell orders determine the implied probability of each scoreline. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of any outcome reflects the collective belief of all traders active in the market at that moment. Outcomes with higher perceived likelihood trade at higher prices, while unlikely scorelines remain cheap. As new information emerges—team lineups, weather, betting syndicates—traders adjust their positions, moving prices in real time. This continuous repricing ensures the market stays responsive to changing conditions right up until the match begins.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the Elfsborg vs. Hammarby match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact number of goals each team scores during regular time. Any extra time or penalty shootout does not affect the resolution—only the score at the end of 90 minutes counts. Traders should monitor official match reports and league records to confirm the final scoreline. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, allowing the market to settle promptly.
Key catalysts for this market include team news such as injuries to star players, confirmed lineups released before kickoff, and recent form or head-to-head history. Weather conditions on match day can influence goal-scoring patterns, shifting odds toward lower or higher-scoring outcomes. Betting syndicates or sharp money entering the market may signal confidence in specific scorelines, prompting rapid repricing. Late-breaking tactical changes or managerial decisions can also shift trader expectations. As the match approaches, any surprise announcements—suspensions, venue changes, or unusual circumstances—will likely trigger volatility across all exact-score outcomes.
