This market will resolve to "YES" if Valve adds a new fixed in-map graffiti or other qualifying memorial to an official Counter-Strike 2 map by August 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, and the addition clearly commemorates a specific player, play, team result, or other moment from IEM Cologne Major 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." For the purposes of this market, a qualifying graffiti or memorial must be a fixed visual element built directly into an official CS2 map and visible in the standard, publicly available version of Counter-Strike 2. It does not need to be explicitly described as a “graffiti” by Valve. The connection to IEM Cologne Major 2026 must be identifiable from the element itself, its placement at the in-game location of the commemorated play, an official Valve statement, or a consensus of credible Counter-Strike reporting. Routine map decoration, signage, posters, environmental props, or texture changes that are not specifically connected to IEM Cologne Major 2026 will not qualify. Inventory graffiti sprays, stickers, weapon skins, charms, temporary event decorations, Workshop-only content, and modifications available only on community servers will not qualify. The addition must become publicly available in Counter-Strike 2 by the deadline. Content found only in unreleased game files, test builds, leaks, or datamining will not qualify unless it is subsequently added to the public version of the game. Primary resolution source: official Counter-Strike 2 update notes: https://www.counter-strike.net/news/updates If a qualifying addition appears in the public version of Counter-Strike 2 but is not mentioned in the official update notes, clear in-game visual evidence supported by a consensus of credible Counter-Strike reporting may be used for resolution.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks serve different purposes. Sportsbooks typically focus on competitive outcomes with established odds-setting models, while prediction markets like this one aggregate trader beliefs about binary events—in this case, whether a specific in-game memorial will appear. Prediction market prices reflect collective expectations across many participants rather than a bookmaker's margin. For niche esports events like map updates, prediction markets often provide the only quantified probability available, making them a unique signal distinct from conventional betting venues.
On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders buy and sell shares representing "Yes" or "No" outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the latest consensus among active traders. As new information surfaces—such as official announcements from ESL or Valve regarding IEM Cologne 2026 commemorations—traders adjust their positions, moving the price to equilibrate supply and demand. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to catalysts.
This market resolves around Aug 31, 2026, after which the outcome is verified against credible public sources. The resolution hinges on whether any graffiti or memorial tribute connected to IEM Cologne 2026 appears on an official Counter-Strike 2 map before the deadline. Official patch notes, in-game map updates, and announcements from Valve or ESL will determine the final result. Traders should monitor these channels closely as the resolution date approaches.
Several catalysts could shift trader sentiment significantly. Official announcements from ESL or Valve confirming plans for a commemorative map update would likely push odds higher. Conversely, silence or explicit statements ruling out such tributes could lower them. Community campaigns or petitions advocating for a memorial might also influence expectations. Proximity to the event itself—as August 31 approaches—could trigger repricing based on whether updates have already rolled out. Esports news coverage and social media momentum around the tournament may also drive trading activity and price movement.
