This market tracks whether the West Indies and Ireland women's cricket teams will complete their ICC T20 World Cup match scheduled for June 27, 2026 at 9:30 AM EDT. The aggregated consensus across Kalshi and Polymarket shows 100.0% probability that the match will be completed, based on resolution criteria from espncricinfo.com and official tournament records. Watch for any weather disruptions, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances that could prevent play before the estimated resolution window closes on July 4, 2026.
This market refers to the cricket match between West Indies and Ireland scheduled for June 27 2026 in ICC T20 World Cup, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
The match resolves based on the official result declared by the governing body. If West Indies wins, the West Indies market resolves Yes. If Ireland wins, the Ireland market resolves Yes. In cases where the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, all markets resolve to $0.50. If a forfeit, disqualification, or concession occurs before the match begins, all markets resolve to $0.50. If such an event occurs after play has begun and the governing body declares an official winner, resolution follows that result. If play commences but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates distinct order books, user bases, and liquidity pools, causing temporary price divergence. Polymarket may attract traders with different risk appetites or information sets than Kalshi, leading to varied implied probabilities. Regulatory frameworks, fee structures, and settlement mechanics also differ subtly between venues. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these gaps, but friction costs and platform-specific rules can prevent instant convergence. Monitoring both prices reveals where market participants disagree most sharply on the outcome.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates to star players, recent form and head-to-head records, and weather forecasts for match day. Venue conditions—pitch behavior, outfield dimensions, and historical performance data—often shift trader positioning. Live match events such as early wickets, batting partnerships, or bowling breakthroughs will trigger sharp repricing as new information arrives. Pre-match betting patterns and late-breaking news from team camps can also swing implied probabilities significantly in the final hours before play begins.
