This event group covers the ICC T20 World Cup Women's match between Sri Lanka and Scotland scheduled for June 26, 2026. Markets span match completion status, toss winner, overall match winner, and individual team run totals across Polymarket and Kalshi platforms.
This market refers to the cricket match between Sri Lanka and Scotland scheduled for June 26 2026 in ICC T20 World Cup, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Markets resolve based on the actual total runs scored by each team in the Scotland vs Sri Lanka Women's T20 World Cup match scheduled for June 26, 2026 at 1:30 PM EDT. Resolution uses only recorded statistics from the completed match. If the match is cancelled before play begins or delayed more than 48 hours from the scheduled start time, all markets resolve to fair market price as determined by the Exchange. If play begins but no official result is declared (including via DLS method), markets resolve to fair market price, except for statistics already definitively achieved, which resolve on recorded results. If the match is shortened with an official result declared through ICC-approved methods such as DLS, statistical markets resolve based on actual recorded statistics only, without projections or adjustments.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which naturally creates price variation. Polymarket and Kalshi may also list slightly different outcome formulations—one platform might focus on match winner while another tracks run thresholds—leading to non-comparable prices. Regulatory differences, settlement timing, and user interface design also influence how traders on each platform perceive and price risk. Savvy traders monitor both platforms to identify arbitrage opportunities before resolution.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, player injuries or fitness updates, recent form and head-to-head records, pitch and weather conditions closer to match day, and any late-breaking news affecting either squad. Betting syndicates and sharp traders often move prices on new information before casual traders react, so watch for sudden shifts in implied probability. Public sentiment, media coverage, and lineup confirmations in the days leading up to the fixture will also influence trader positioning. Early trading activity on this market can signal where informed money is flowing.
