This market refers to the cricket match between Pakistan and Netherlands scheduled for June 27 2026 in ICC T20 World Cup, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their liability and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show odds that differ meaningfully from major sportsbooks, especially as new information emerges or trader conviction shifts. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities, though prediction markets typically converge toward sportsbook pricing closer to event time as arbitrage traders exploit gaps.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker (AMM) system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome's price reflects the collective belief of all traders participating in the order book at any given moment. As traders adjust their positions based on new information—team news, weather, injury reports, or betting patterns—the odds shift in real time. The market price you see is the marginal cost of the next trade, and larger trades may move prices more significantly depending on available liquidity in the pool.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will reflect which team wins the contest according to official ICC records and widely recognized sports news sources. Traders should monitor the event schedule and any last-minute changes to fixture timing or venue. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, allowing the platform to confirm the result and settle all positions accordingly.
Several factors could shift odds significantly before the match begins. Team announcements regarding player availability, injuries to key performers, or late lineup changes often trigger sharp price movements. Weather forecasts for the match day—particularly wind, humidity, and pitch conditions—influence trader positioning. Recent form, head-to-head records, and betting action from professional syndicates can also move this market. Closer to Jul 4, 2026, toss outcomes and in-game developments may prompt traders to reassess their positions, though pre-match catalysts typically have the largest impact on pricing.
