This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between India and Pakistan scheduled for 2026-06-14 in ICC T20 World Cup, Women. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to India will be considered correct if India is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Pakistan will be considered correct if Pakistan is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader belief and capital allocation. In this market, prediction traders are betting real money on their conviction about the toss outcome, which can lead to sharper, less biased estimates than sportsbook lines. However, sportsbooks may adjust faster to late-breaking news or injury reports, so comparing both sources provides a fuller picture of market expectations.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share fluctuates based on the ratio of liquidity in the pool—as more traders buy one outcome, its price rises and the alternative falls. This continuous pricing model ensures the market always has a quoted price and allows traders to enter or exit positions instantly. The current odds reflect the cumulative bets of all participants and update in real time as new trades execute.
This market resolves around Jun 21, 2026, once the toss result from the India vs Pakistan Women's T20 World Cup match is confirmed and verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official toss call at the start of the match—whichever team wins the coin flip determines the winning outcome in this market. Resolution occurs shortly after the match begins and the toss is broadcast, allowing traders to see the result and settle their positions.
Several factors could shift odds in this market before resolution. Weather conditions at the venue may influence team strategy and perceived toss advantage, prompting traders to adjust their positions. Last-minute team news, captain changes, or pitch reports could alter expectations about which team might be favored in the toss outcome. Media commentary and expert predictions in the days leading up to the match may also sway trader sentiment. As match day approaches and more information becomes public, watch for these catalysts to trigger price movements.
