This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between India and Bangladesh scheduled for 2026-06-25 in ICC T20 World Cup, Women. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to India will be considered correct if India is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Bangladesh will be considered correct if Bangladesh is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders who stake real capital on outcomes they believe will occur. Traders have strong incentives to identify mispricing, which can make prediction markets more efficient at reflecting ground truth. However, sportsbooks may incorporate additional data streams or adjust faster during live events. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value in either venue.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares tied to each outcome, with the share price representing the implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market uses an automated market maker model where prices adjust based on order flow and inventory. If more traders buy Bangladesh Winner shares, the price rises; if they sell, it falls. This continuous repricing mechanism means the odds you see reflect the aggregate belief of all active traders at that moment, updated in real time as new information surfaces or positions shift.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the toss outcome from the India vs Bangladesh women's T20 match is confirmed and verifiable. The result will be determined by the official toss call at the ground, verified against credible public reporting of the event. Until that moment, traders can continue to buy and sell shares, and prices may fluctuate based on team news, weather updates, or other factors that might influence toss expectations. Resolution is automatic once the match begins and the toss is officially recorded.
Several factors could shift prices in this market before resolution. Team announcements regarding playing XI or captain changes might alter perceptions of toss strategy or luck. Weather forecasts closer to match day could influence trader expectations, since some teams prefer certain conditions. Injury updates or last-minute lineup adjustments may prompt traders to reassess. Historical head-to-head toss records or venue-specific patterns could spark trading activity if new analysis emerges. Additionally, broader tournament momentum or media commentary about either team's form might indirectly influence sentiment, causing traders to adjust their positions ahead of the actual toss.
