This market refers to the cricket match between India and Bangladesh scheduled for June 25 2026 in ICC T20 World Cup, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction markets and sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from real-time trader consensus—often reflecting sharper, crowd-sourced probability estimates. For this market, the prediction market price may diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because traders continuously adjust based on new information, team news, and betting flow. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value relative to bookmakers, though both reflect genuine uncertainty about which team will prevail.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the aggregate belief of all active traders; as new information emerges or sentiment shifts, the probability updates in real time. You can enter or exit your position at any time before the market closes, and your profit or loss depends on the final resolution price versus your entry price. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to breaking news and changing circumstances.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the fixture—either India or Bangladesh will emerge victorious. Resolution occurs after the final ball is bowled and the winner is officially confirmed by the ICC and major sports news outlets. Until that point, the market remains open for trading, and prices may shift as the match progresses and new developments unfold.
Several factors could shift prices before the match concludes. Team announcements regarding player injuries, last-minute squad changes, or tactical adjustments will likely trigger trading activity. Weather conditions at the venue, pitch reports, and toss outcomes can influence perceived advantage and move the odds significantly. Recent form, head-to-head records, and any breaking news about player fitness or controversy may also prompt traders to reassess probabilities. Live match developments—early wickets, aggressive batting, or momentum swings—will drive continuous repricing as the contest unfolds.
