This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Bangladesh and Netherlands scheduled for 2026-06-14 in ICC T20 World Cup, Women. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Bangladesh will be considered correct if Bangladesh is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Netherlands will be considered correct if Netherlands is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs. For a toss outcome, sportsbooks may quote tighter spreads, whereas this market can exhibit wider ranges depending on participation and conviction. Comparing the two reveals whether professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders agree on the likelihood of each outcome.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker (AMM) system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 100 cents, representing the implied probability that outcome will occur. As traders place orders, the price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand, creating a continuous price discovery mechanism. This decentralized pricing model means the market reflects real-time sentiment without a central authority setting the odds.
This market resolves around Jun 21, 2026, once the toss result from the Bangladesh vs Netherlands match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official toss call at the start of the match, confirmed through match records and broadcast coverage. Traders holding the correct outcome share receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution is straightforward and objective, tied directly to a single, observable event.
Several factors may shift prices in this market before resolution. Team news, injury updates, or lineup changes affecting either side could influence trader perception of momentum or confidence. Weather conditions at the venue, pitch reports, and recent toss patterns in T20 World Cup matches may prompt reassessment. Media commentary and expert analysis circulating before match day can sway sentiment. As the match start time approaches, late-arriving information and final betting activity typically drive the most volatile price movements.
