PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's match outcome market contains a logical contradiction where both possible match outcomes (Bangladesh win or Netherlands win) resolve to Yes, making the market fundamentally unresolvable and creating a data integrity failure.Hero tip: Do not trade Kalshi's match outcome market. The resolution logic is contradictory and unresolvable. Use Polymarket's match outcome market instead, which has clear binary resolution (winner or 50-50 tie). Kalshi's toss and completion markets appear logically sound and may be tradeable.

Critical divergence points:

  • Kalshi: Match outcome market resolves to Yes for both Bangladesh win AND Netherlands win. This is logically impossible for a binary market. Quote: 'If Bangladesh wins...resolves to Yes. If Netherlands wins...resolves to Yes.' No resolution path exists for a No outcome.
  • Polymarket: Match outcome resolves to the actual winner based on ESPN Cricinfo official result. Tie-breaks (Super Over) are treated as ordinary wins. Permanent cancellation or no result resolves 50-50. Quote: 'the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match is permanently canceled...the market will resolve 50-50.'
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the cricket match between Bangladesh and Netherlands scheduled for June 14 2026 in ICC T20 World Cup, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Kalshi

This event covers the Bangladesh vs Netherlands women's T20 World Cup cricket match scheduled for June 14, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. Each team has a corresponding market that resolves to Yes if that team wins. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, all markets resolve to $0.50. In forfeit, disqualification, or concession scenarios, markets resolve to $0.50 if the event occurs before play begins; if it occurs after play has begun and an official winner is declared by the governing body, markets resolve based on that result. If play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi differ from traditional sportsbooks in structure and incentive. Sportsbooks set odds to balance action and lock in profit margins; prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market's odds reflect real-time consensus among participants risking capital, often incorporating sharp analysis faster than sportsbooks adjust lines. However, sportsbook odds may include different injury reports, weather updates, or team news timing. Comparing this market's prices to major sportsbooks can reveal value opportunities, though prediction market liquidity and sportsbook depth vary independently.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates under distinct regulatory frameworks, user demographics, and market-making incentives. Polymarket and Kalshi may attract different trader profiles—institutional, retail, or regional—leading to varying risk assessments of the match outcome. Liquidity depth, fee structures, and settlement rule nuances also influence price. Temporary arbitrage gaps can emerge if one venue receives breaking news or sharp action before the other. These differences typically narrow as traders exploit spreads, but they reflect the decentralized nature of prediction markets across independent venues.

Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates to star players, and recent form leading into the tournament. Weather forecasts for match day—affecting pitch conditions and playing strategy—often shift trader positioning. Head-to-head historical records and venue-specific performance data can trigger repricing as the event approaches. Media coverage highlighting tactical matchups or player milestones may influence sentiment. Political or logistical developments affecting either team's preparation could also impact odds. As the match date nears, late-breaking team news and betting syndicate activity typically drive final price adjustments.
