This market refers to the cricket match between Germany and Portugal scheduled for August 15 2026 in ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Sub Regional Qualifier C. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds in this market often reflect a more nuanced view of probabilities compared to traditional sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks may set their lines based on broader public betting trends and adjusted margins, prediction markets aggregate the collective wisdom of informed traders, potentially offering tighter spreads and more accurate implied probabilities.
This market resolves around Aug 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will reflect the official match conclusion, determined by the confirmed winner or draw through authoritative sports governing bodies and match records. No further interpretation or external calculation is needed beyond the publicly verified result, ensuring a clear and transparent resolution process for all participants on Polymarket.
Key signals such as team announcements, player injuries, weather forecasts, and recent match performance can shift this market. Updates on squad availability or changes to the match venue may also influence trader sentiment. As the event draws closer, any last-minute news — for example, a star player’s fitness status or pitch conditions — could cause rapid movements in the odds on Polymarket. Traders will react to these developments, adjusting positions based on how they impact the perceived likelihood of each possible outcome.
