This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Scotland and Canada scheduled for 2026-08-13 in ICC Cricket World Cup League Two. The outcome corresponding to Scotland will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Scotland. The outcome corresponding to Canada will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Canada. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set the odds for this market through buying and selling shares, which determines the implied probability for each outcome. The current price reflects aggregated user expectations about which team’s batter will score the most runs. As the match nears, injury reports, weather forecasts, and practice performances can cause rapid shifts in pricing, with high-volume trades pushing probabilities toward the most favored batter.
This market resolves around Aug 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The top batter is determined by official match statistics, and the result is finalized when the match concludes and scores are published by recognized cricket authorities. Traders should monitor confirmed sources for final run totals and player performances to verify the market settlement.
Injuries, weather updates, and practice performances are key signals that could shift this market before resolution. If a key batter is ruled out or a sudden weather delay affects playing conditions, odds may swing dramatically. Additionally, strong recent form shown in warm-up matches or changes to the starting lineup can influence trader sentiment, causing rapid price adjustments on Polymarket as new information emerges.
