This market refers to the cricket match between Nepal and Namibia scheduled for July 21 2026 in ICC Cricket World Cup League Two. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For this market, comparing the implied probability here to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders agree on the likely outcome. Prediction markets sometimes lead sportsbooks when informed traders act on early information, though both venues ultimately converge as event time approaches and new data emerges.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the cumulative bets placed by all participants; as more traders back one outcome, its probability rises and the opposing outcome falls. Fees and slippage apply to trades, especially in lower-volume periods. The continuous pricing mechanism means you can enter or exit your position at any time before the market closes, with the price adjusting instantly based on order flow.
This market resolves around Jul 28, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result as recorded by the ICC and major sports data providers. Until that time, traders can continue to buy and sell positions, with prices fluctuating as new information and analysis emerge. After resolution, payouts are distributed automatically to holders of the winning outcome.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates, recent form and head-to-head records, and weather forecasts for match day. Betting trends from major sportsbooks can also shift trader sentiment if they reveal sharp money moving in one direction. Pre-match press conferences and official toss information often trigger repricing as new tactical or logistical details surface. Live commentary and early-match performance will drive the most volatile moves, as traders react to actual play and reassess win probabilities in real time.
