Prices on Polymarket and Predict can vary because of differing user bases, liquidity levels, and market design features. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might attract more casual fans, skewing its odds, while the other could draw sharper traders with more nuanced views. Additionally, low overall volume — currently around $1,198 — can amplify small trades, leading to larger price swings. These factors combined often create a noticeable gap between the two venues.
Injuries to key players, tactical changes by coaches, or even weather conditions could shift this market as the match approaches. Strong pre-game news coverage on either team’s form or morale may also sway trader sentiment. Additionally, any notable betting trends on Polymarket or Predict — especially if volume spikes to $6 — can create momentum that moves prices before the final whistle.
