Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that information not yet reflected in sportsbook lines is available to prediction market participants. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand, reflecting the aggregated predictions of all participants. This creates a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event’s likelihood.

This market resolves around Sep 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The platform will verify the result against publicly available data to determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for updates as the resolution date approaches to stay informed about the event’s progress.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before Sep 21, 2026. Any news regarding the players' form, potential injuries, or changes in coaching strategies could significantly shift trader sentiment.
