On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and exchange shares, the price adjusts to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. The platform uses an Automated Market Maker (AMM) model, meaning prices are determined by a mathematical formula based on the supply and demand of shares, rather than a traditional order book. This ensures liquidity even with relatively low trading volume.
This market resolves around Oct 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Hrekh Iurii vs. Rodin Oleksii match, as reported by a recognized sports authority. The platform will then determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the result. The exact timing of resolution may vary slightly depending on the availability of official results, but it will occur as soon as reasonably possible following the completion of the match.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market before it resolves. Any news regarding the players’ form, potential injuries, or changes in their coaching strategies could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected announcements about the match schedule or venue could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, broader trends in the players’ performance or public perception could drive changes in the market. A significant influx of volume from informed traders, or even a large bet from a single participant, could also cause a noticeable movement in prices leading up to Oct 1, 2026.
